Fluorite crystal is obtained by mining Stranite ore, requiring level 25. Fluorite crystal has several uses in the Carpentry, most notably it is used to create the Archaeopteris lute and the Archaeopteris staff of fire.
Fluorite crystal can also regularly be obtained from certain NPCs, such as Wraiths and Zalranaz. It is thereby advised for higher levels to collect these crystals through killing these, not through mining.
